The day Overwatch 1 Died

Today marks a very sad day for Overwatch fans, almost six years after its launch the games producer Blizzard is taking Overwatch 1 offline. This however does come with some good news, the launch of Overwatch 2 is just on the Horizon and Blizzard wants its fans to be ready for it.

The Overwatch gaming community however had their heartfelt messages exchanged on the games message lobbies. Watch the video below to see how the Overwatch community bids farewell.

Since the servers have been offline, Blizzard has shared a message in-game explaining that the servers will be offline in order to prepare for the launch of Overwatch 2.
