Origin will officially be discontinued by EA. The EA app for Windows will take Origin’s place as the site for ordering, downloading, and playing EA games later this year, according to a notification you’ll receive when you log in to the launcher.
Players will gradually start getting invitations to switch to the new platform. Electronic Arts guarantees that as soon as you log into the EA app, all of your games, extra material, and titles that are already installed will be accessible to you. You won’t have to worry about losing any progress in your favourite releases because all saved games, whether they are kept locally or in the cloud, will also be transferred. Your list of Origin pals will be transferred over to the updated programme.
